ESP32 Rebuild After a Drop

Knocked the puzzle off my table on the weekend… ESP32 chip broken

So it’s back to rebuilding all the circuitry. I’m actually kinda excited about it and I’m going to change the topology a bit to help fix some of the power issues the last version had. It gave brown-outs when the servos turned whilst also performing LED effects when running on battery power, for example. I got around those by just making sure the display and LEDs were turned off before moving any motors which mitigated things but were also kinda creative compromises in my opinion.

Thicker power wires and more strategically placed capacitors are the main things I’m going for. Worked on it a bit Sunday and last night and it’s coming along quite quickly now that I’ve already built it once. Power seems a lot stabler too which is good.
