iPhone app which uses push notifications, Core Location and web services to transmit users’ journeys to and from each other. Users are asked at key intervals to “check-in” by entering their personal PIN number.
If the user fails to check-in at any time, an alert is sent to their chosen friend who can also view a live step-by-step map of their journey either via a private link on the SafeJourney website or via push notifications sent to SafeJourney’s companion app, SafeJourney Tracker.
